We get a lot of puzzled looks when we tell people that we have an exceptional 364-seat performing arts venue, with professional theatre productions and amazing concerts. Oh yes, and we’re a retirement community!

But Elim Park isn’t just any retirement community. We’ve always been ahead of the curve in our commitment to excellence.

In 1985, we took a big leap into a progressive new retirement lifestyle and constructed the first of our six neighborhoods of independent living apartments. Leading the trend in active, social retirement living, Elim Park began to morph into a vibrant community for older adults who are ready to leave the worries of home-ownership behind and begin exploring, learning and nurturing their passions.

We embraced the wellness movement in 2007, and in a bold measure to enhance wellness of mind, body and spirit, and began construction on the intimately elegant Nelson Hall for worship and performing arts, and the spacious new Fitness and Wellness Center, complete with a 30’ x 60’ warm water pool for swimming and aquatic therapy. Nelson Hall and the Wellness Center opened in spring 2008.

To fill our new performing arts venue, we launched a new project in 2010, Illuminate Nelson Hall, as a plan to elevate the level of performing arts programming at Elim Park. Our goal is to permeate the darkness and nourish the soul with uplifting theatre productions.

We have discovered that our most effective form of marketing is for people to actually come see for themselves all that Elim Park has to offer. Come see who we are and what we do. What better way than to enjoy a fabulous night of entertainment?
